Default Upgrade or Not? This is the Question

Please Login to Remove!

I am new to Blackberry experience and have had my Storm for approximately 2 weeks. I have instituted the setting changes for the keyboard and it definitely made a major difference.

As someone who is completely new to this experience, should I attempt to upgrade to OS .76? Or, will Verizon be getting another shortly and will do this at one of its customer service centers?

I have given .65 the full shot and it is somewhat sluggish. I am not terribly dissatisfied as I have never utilized a previous unit with faster responsiveness. However, I definitely agree the Storm needs some tweaking. The camera application is the biggest disappointment. It lags and routinely glitches when transitioning though operations. The persistent glitch is the tool bar going off center during operation. Exiting and reopening is the only fix for my phone. The lag in tansitioning to a landscaped view is also becoming quite annoying.

I am willing to put up with this if BB plans to offer a specific upgrade on its website. However, if some of the experienced users here suggest otherwise, I am open to hearing your advice.

Fire away!

I'd say upgrade. I made the jump from .65 to .75 and it was very much worth it. Haven't gotten a chance to try out .76 yet.
