Default Key board light up? How to?

It was lit up at some point as I typed, how do I light it up again? drats

It's light sensitive. Go into a dark room or cover the led on the top right corner of the BB. That's where the light sensor is.

As I type and the keyboard backlight goes out, I place my finger over the LED Indicator momentarily and it will light back up. Easy to do while you are typing. Try that.....

I'm guessing it was built that way because of battery issues! all previous Berrys stayed on if the dim setting was off. Guess it's better this way because the battery life on this thing is not good to begin with.
