I am new to Blackberrys (Pearl). It won't let me send picture messages to other cell phones..(it reads: message service not configured) I think. I tried putting in the software on my computer but I was lost. Can anyone help me on this?

Also, my call log history keeps deleting itself even though I have a memory card. It's getting a little frustrating.

Are you on a 8130 on Alltel?

Try sending your service books again from the BIS site. Alltel used to block MMS messages, but I thought they had it all cleared up now.
