I would think you should call the 888 support number or try this link:

https://store.telenav.com/newstore/D...t=gpsNavigator

They just released it today. I've tried it for the last few hours and it looks good. I've had telenav for years and always loved their product. I've used VZNav and Garmin and feel they just don't compare. Good Luck.

I called and talked to a woman who was totally clueless. First she told me she'd never heard of a Storm and then claimed it was not supported yet. I hung up frustrated. I'll try again when I have more time and patience.

If you go to the main telenav site and follow the selection through, you have an option for the BB storm and it shows a 30 day trail. I didnt do it, but it looks like it sends it to you via text (probably the link and pin)... but seems to be supported via their site.

You do have to go through the main screen (Voice directions on your GPS phone: TeleNav). You'll set up your My Telenav account (mobile number and PIN) which is what you'll use to get it working once you've downloaded it (if I am remembering correctly). Looks like you get a free 30-day trial if you go with the Unlimited plan, but you'll need to feed it a credit card number first, which won't be charged until your 30-days is up.

Same problem VZNav used to have that they solved. I'm on BES and access to GPS can not be changed to allow from prompt. So TeleNav doesn't work in these circumstances. Back to VZNav. Maybe someday they will figure it out.

Can you clarify what you mean? I have a user with a Storm and is trying to run TeleNav. Says he's unable to update the application's permissions to change the Connections to Allow (or something like that).

I've checked and he's currently has our Default IT Policy on the BES, and I don't see any setting to the Policy that might indicate it is blocking his access. In addition, it worked with his 8700 that he had previously.

I'm continuing to research but this thread looked promising.
