Hi, I've been using the Innocase by Seidio since I purchased my Bold. I dropped it and to my suprise the case cracked and now doesnt "completely" stay closed.
I was considering buying the Case-Mate Leather "cut out" case and was curious if anyone knows if it will be slimmer than the Innocase.

I keep it in my pocket and have no desire for a holster, just looking for the "slimmest" protection available.

I also have a very slim soft leather sleeve by SENA, but i have to slide the Bold out of the sleeve everytime I use it, which increases the chances for dropping the device.

I too was an "Innocase since purchase" user, and recently got the chance to demo some case-mate products. I really like the Smart Skin line of products, especially for the Bold. It covers the keys, but somehow it feels like you are typing directly on the keypad. It is very slim (I am also a pocket carrier), and give the phone very good grip.

My only knock is removing the skin to use the OEM BlackBerry cradle. That aside, I recommend trying the case-mate Smart Skin.

No kidding! Makes me even more glad I bought their holster for my Curve!

Two gripes about the Innocase...

1) They break too easily. If you open them up more than about three times (battery pulls, etc.) the "lip" that holds the two halves together breaks off.

2) Although Sedio sells a replacement battery cover for the 8330 that includes a Speaker Hole, the Innocase for the 8330 does not include the Speaker Hole.
