Connect your device to your PC, Lauch DM and click on backup restore. From there, click on advanced. On the left side you will see the backup file, on the right you will see your device databases.

Scroll to Password Keeper on the left side. Highlight it, and possibly the options too, and click the arrow to move it to the device.

You're welcome. They are not silly questions. That's the point of these forums

jsconyers,

So I am trying to do the same thing but with Calendar items. When I get to this step: Lauch DM and click on backup restore. From there, click on advanced --> there is nothing showing up on the Left side (the Desktop File Databases) - ??? And yet I have at least 50 Autoback-ups stored on my computer -- ??? Any thoughts?

In your advanced backup/restore screen, click on file > open. Then locate the backup file you wish to use.

Bro you are awesome. I totally did not see that File button.

Before I go screw things up I would like to run what I'm trying to do by you: I have lost all of my MS Outlook calendar appointments from prior to 12/30/08. The archive file is gone, vanished. Now I know that all those old calendar appointments are there... in my BB back-ups. What do you think is the best way for me to get them out of those BB back-up files and back into my MS Outlook calendar?

I am not to familiar with synchronizing with outlook. I use GroupWise via BES.

I would imagine if you restored the calendar database to you device, you would have all of those appointments back in your calendar on the device. Then if you would sync with outlook, it would copy those appointments to your outlook calendar.

It would make sense to work that way. As I stated, I don't have experience with syncing with outlook.

You lost your entire archive in Outlook?

Is the Archive still listed in Outlook at all?

Try doing a search for "*.pst" see if it finds your archive if so you can just re-add that pst file to your Outlook account.

I think so.

I don't think so, where would it be listed?

Just did, nothing.

I backed up my old PC religiously with Mozy -- I thought surely I'd be able to find that file online somewhere in the Mozy back-up, but I have been unsuccessful thus far -- any idea where it might by located -- i.e. what path I should follow?

The default Path is C:\Documents And Settings\%UserName%\Local Data\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

I beleive local Data is a hidden folder... The Path is different on XP to Vista, which OS are you using?

XP.

So the actual archive file will be hidden and named Outlook.pst?

C:\Documents and Settings\% User Name %\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

That is where all .pst files are stored/created by default, and the "Application Data" folder is hidden.

If the PST is not in the above directory then it might be gone.

When you are in Outlook next just go to File -> Open -> PST file and navigate to the above directory and open the Archive.PST file.

Archive.pst is the name by default.
