Ok, well my Pearl has been working great for 5 full days since I brought it back to life after dropping it in my tea.. lol

Yesterday I was playing songs from it while I was cooking and everything was still fine.... I dropped it in its leather case today from about 2 feet... It landed on the carpet...

Now the speakerphone doesnt work, cant hear songs except through the ear speaker and it doesnt ring out loud.

I quickly just read some where that this could be caused from the drop.. great.... question is how do I fix it?

It really sounds like your unit will have to be sent for repair.

Yeah, I agree. It does sound like it needs to be repaired. I think when it fell onto the carpet was the last straw. Maybe break it down, air it out and clean it a little bit. But I don't think it's looking too good man. Good luck dude.

Yeah I was afraid of that..... Its only 2 months old but I guess because it got wet the warranty is void eh?

Some warranties cover water damage. Contact your service provider and see what they can do. Hopefully they can take care of it man.

I just called my service provider.. he confirmed that if it has gotten wet the warranty is VOID.

I SAID that my little square is red but I dont know of any time it got wet.. he said not to worry, it can turn red even from humity but I should bring the phone in to my local store and they will check it over before sending it away for repair.. he did say that there is ANOTHER square internally that if they see its red then they know it got wet and my warranty is void.

IM SO SCREWED!
