Default Resend Service Books, restart and lots of errors

Please Login to Remove!

I resent my service books as I reloaded G-Mail and of course the Bis 2.6 upgrade. Pulled the battery to do a reset, and wow, all the java errors and application errors. Anyone seen this. Tried pulling the battery a couple more times and still the same. Furthermore, my home screen has been changed. Any help will be appreciated.

Which OS are you running? If it's the default AT&T OS (.167), you may want to consider upgrading.

I went in and re-registed with the network and did another reset. All security tests passed this time and no errors. Might be something worth remembering the next time service book resends gives you these errors.

I think I received the java/app errors (mostly after soft resets) with most of the OS's I tried through .210. After that OS upgrade, I haven't received them at all. I believe it had to do with the device's handling of certain third party apps upon restart on those earlier OS versions, but don't quote me on that. At any rate, if you want them to go away for good you should upgrade to one of the more recent versions if you haven't tried them already. .210, .234, .237, and .247 have all been pretty solid for me.
