Question Blackberry Enterprise Server Application Tracking

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone tell me if the Blackberry Enterprise Server tracks application usage? For example, can the server track how much time a person plays games, sends email, or texts during the day?

LOL I would be interested in the same info... but I think the simple answer is if you have to ask about it maybe not using it?

I'm pretty sure that since your data package goes through the BES they can track almost anything - my employer has WebSense on our internet therefore I have to assume that every website I browse to on my BB is monitored and tracked...

I have no idea about AIM, Facebook, BBM, etc.

Assume that ALL network activity is tracked.

Uncle Sam has nothing to do with this.

This is a matter of corporate security, and companies are well within their right to monitor their users' devices.

I am fine with the tracking and not just for security reasons. Every employer has a right to know what thier employees are doing when using company equipment. Remember...if it is thier equipment, they are just as must liable for wrong doing as the person doing the act. Not to mention the company is paying for the time the employee is jerking off doing something other than what he/she was hired to do.

I really just wanted to know what could be tracked and how. Can information be tracked by application or just as data usage?
