Default Deleting applications

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a new BB 8130 from Alltel. Was curious if there was anyway to delete some of the Alltel programs that came preloaded (Alltel axcess, realtone jukebox, and others). I can't delete them through the application list or the desktop manager program, so I'm hoping somebody knows how to remove these annoying things. I have them hidden, but I would prefer to erase them all together.

Thanks!

If they are ONLY the web shortcut to the install sites, no. Your carrier will push certain shortcuts. Just hide them as you have.

If it is the actual applications loaded via the OS install, yes, you can delete from App Loader or from Options > Advanced > Applications.

But I have a feeling yours are only the pushed install shortcuts.

When I select them, I go to a download/install screen, so I guess they are the pushed shortcuts. Would doing a "wipe" clear them? Or could I install then delete? I know it's not a big deal, but I am anal when it comes to little things like this, and it is driving me crazy right now!

Just hide the shortcuts, they are pushed by your carrier, nothing you can do.

Yes, a wipe would clear them - temporarily. They will be pushed to your device again. It's best to just move them to a folder and then hide the folder. Out of sight, out of mind.

For the Anal-ness in you, I do this:

Create a folder on your homescreen name "Crap", or AlltelCrap.

Move all those icons in that folder. Then hide the entire folder. All the garbage is one nice neat place and you know where it is, at all times.

On any OS reinstalls/upgrades, the settings will keep these icons all in that folder.
