when i try to backup my device data, it stops every time at "mms options", returns an error and breaks up the backup process...

i tried it on my server (2003), on my desktop (vista) and on my laptop (7)...
all the same thing.....

can anyone help??

Usually it's the Browser Data Cache. Use DM and highlight the Browser Data Cache and hit clear. That usually does it for me. Other people on here have said to clear it from the device (Browser->Options->Cache Operations->Clear History) but that doesn't work for me.

I had that problem but with a different file. I think what I did was in the DM to go backup/restore then advanced. I then called up a previous backup file and found the one part that was causing me problems. In your case that would be "mms options". I restored that one part to my phone. I then was able to do a normal backup. It sounds like it's just an option file with you, so I would guess, that even if you had to restore an old file that was out of date, you could easily fix that.
