Default Wireless Email Matching?

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know why on BES, the Bold now displays emails in HTML, with all formatting, matching the desktop. Yet when you reply to a message via the Bold, it still sends a blank Arial or times new roman reply, not matching your autosig or email formatting from the desktop?

Can they match, so you wouldn't know whether the email came from the laptop or the blackberry?

With BES, your device doesn't talk to your desktop/laptop so how would it know? There is always a way to tell where your reply came from and I'd wonder the motivation for someone who's interested in concealing same.

The BlackBerry cannot compose messages in HTML format. It's always just plain text.
It can receive messages with HTML formatting, but not send.

Seems like it would be an easy feature to implement. I'd love to be able to "cap+scroll" to select text, menu > Font and change the formatting of my selected text .

Well we didn't ask you to wonder..........

The reason is when you have a email sent from the desktop the HTML editing is present, then further into the conversation you see the blank plain text (from the blackberry). In a design field, it looks tacky, lazy and ugly. One would wonder why such a simple option of HTML email is not present on a blackberry with 3g etc these days........

It was only a year ago next month, that the BlackBerry was natively receiving and displaying HTML email.

Yeah, I mean come on dude. You can not expect phones to slice bread for you. It will come in time. It may seem simple to you, but if you were a coder it may not be so. Currently I do not know of a phone that sends in HTML format. Therefor use a computer!
