Default Looking for a daily recording app?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello and greetings.

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8310, and have outfitted it with a 8gB microSD card.

I was hoping there may be some way I could use the blackberry as a passive recording device? My memory isn't the best sadly, and something I can use to review phone conversations / live conversations / meetings I attended would be a godsend. I'm sure this would likely require nightly charging as the battery would be sucked dry on a daily basis...

Is ther any hope / alternate approches that would be advisable in the matter?

Thank you so much,

-Aaron

When I upgraded my BB8830 to 4.5 it installed voice notes. It is handy for leaving yourself messages which are saved inside your music files. Hope this helps.

Hmmm, that does sound like a step in the right direction...
But it also sounds like it wont record the phone conversations, and looking up a little information on it, it only records for at most 1 minute.

I guess from a different perspective, I'm looking to turn my blackberry into 'wearing a wire'.

I also have an ipod touch 2nd gen, but I don't intend to make that a focus of this thread.

Google Voice records conversations.

I think Voice notes records for 10 minutes and then will start a new file for 10 minutes and will continue until you press stop. I discovered this by accident when I was playing with it and accidently started recording. I had a bunch of 10 minutes files.

But no, it won't record phone conversations.

i don't think you can save voice notes to the SD Card though.

Default Record conversation facilities

Hi
I have read so much trash about the law on recording. So many have nothing to do but waste everyone's time believing extraordinarily that their comment is unique and valuable.

I interview people. All over the world. It is a great help to be able to record the interview and it is a great help to have the respondent call at a time to suit them. It follows that I am not always sitting at my desk.

A friend has im her recently joined me. She uses and loves her BB however she rates higher the recording facility. So unless I can sort out how to record on a BB for up to 4 hours she will have to bin BB. Note the recording facility needs to be automatic like using Powergamo with Skype.

There are many legitimate reasons why you would want to record a conversation. So if you do not have a constructive comment then please say nothing.
