Question eSpell vs. BB Spell

Please Login to Remove!

Hi -

Would appreciate comments from users as to which they prefer and why.

I have read the website info from each company so I really interested in the comments from those who have actually used the products. Also, eSpell seems to be device based so it can be used when the radio is off, like for example writing email on a plane.

I am a new 7100i user so I don't know if that is valuable or practical - can you write/send email to an outbox for sending when a signal is available on a BB? I used to do this on a plane with my iPaq.

Also, does the eSpell take a lot of valuable storage space? Didn't see how much it needs and should that be a big concern?

Thanks - ACM

The size of the US English dictionary in eSpell is about 300K - not that much compared to 32Mb or more on most new devices. And yes, you're correct, you can check spelling of e-mails even without coverage and then have them spell-checked and queued when signal is available. With a server based one you cannot do that.
