Default V4.5.0.148 (platform 2.4.0.22) VERY slow and choppy, any ideas?

Please Login to Remove!

I just downloaded and installed V4.5.0.148 (platform 2.4.0.22) for my Sprint PCS 8703e, but all functions are unbearably slow. No matter what application I select it takes atleast 10 seconds to open up, sometimes longer. If I'm playing brick breaker the ball moves really choppy and if I get a text message the ball almost pauses. When I go to read the a new text message, the hour glass spins around for a good 15 seconds before the window opens. I have no idea why this new OS is so slow and choppy, but is there any way to fix it? I absolutely love the new look and lay out, but the speed is just to choppy and slow..............I feel like I'm on dialup internet no matter what function I use on or off the browser.

4.5 on an 87xx series device is going to be sluggish. The hardware just isn't enough to support it.

Frankly, i'd consider downgrading back to 4.2.x

That's fine. I'm just offering an opinion.
In my experience, 4.5 completely blows on the 87xx series devices.
Seems to be your experience as well.
