Default Call Timer on Phone calls

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I've been noticing an odd characteristic of the Tour surrounding the call timer. Whenever I hang up on a call I typically like to look at the minutes used for that call.
As you are aware there is a large display for call time on your screen (next to the phone icon) which will typically display the total time of that call.

I have discovered that the time that is displayed after a call on average of 5 minutes or more will momentarily display a time that is not correct. For Example, if I'm on a call for 28 min 15 sec, as soon as I press the end call button it will, for a brief moment display a much lower number, shuch as 8 min 38 sec., then will change to what the total time actually is once the call is completely ended and I'm back at the phone screen.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks,
Dave

I've noticed it too, not sure what the deal is but it's very odd. I'm guessing/hoping they'll address this in a software upgrade, hopefully soon.

Same here, but I was also getting the same thing on my Storm for the last few weeks before I upgraded to the Tour.

Wirelessly posted

Yeah when the screeen goes dark for me its like the timer stopped. Then I hit a button to see my screen and the timer jumps.

Yes, this is not uncommon with my device either. It seems that this happens also when I wake it up after being locked. I will push a key, the screen lights up, and it will momentarily show me 12:30 PM (or some other time) with 2 new messages. Within a half second or so, it updates to 1:15 PM (or whatever time it actually is) with 6 new messages (or however many new messages I have). This is probably because I have content protection enabled on the device - it never happened before I activated it on my BES and got the security pushed to it.
