I just downloaded bbm 5.0 to my blackberry. Download complete, reboot blackberry, but after my blackberry is back on, I can't find the bbm icon. I checked the application list and the bbm 5.0 is already installed. I've turned it off, removed the battery and turned it back on, but still the bbm icon won't show. Can anyone help me with this problem please. IM me @ or e-mail me thru the same address.. Desperately need help :( :(

Have you checked all your folders and checked to see if it isn't hidden.

If so, delete thru the application list, reboot, and install again

Yes I did, my bb is curve 8320 so there's no download folder and I don't make folders for my icons, so they're basically just all over my menu. I even upgraded my OS from 4.5.0.55 to 4.5.0.124, deleted bbm 5 listed in applicaton list and downloaded it again hoping that it might work, but no luck whatsoever :( :( heeellpppp..

Get a friend to BBM you and see if you get it.

I would like to know what BBM version do I have. How do I do this and if I don't have the 5.0 how do I go about getting it? I have a 8330 curve with sprint
