Default Has anyone sold their blackberry bold? Not sure how to make it 'safe' to sell.

Thinking of selling my blackberry bold and its unlocked but currently with orange uk. I assume I'd delete the email addresses number etc and that would be it?

If you are getting another blackberry, you need to do that before selling the other one, so that when using the change device option on BIS, it releases the PIN and IMEI.

If you dont plan on buying another BB, call Orange ask for technical support and ask them to delete your BIS account, which releases the PIN for the new owner to use.

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

Also go to options>security>general settings press menu and select wipe handheld

I think a lot of people forget to reset or delete their email account for the Blackberry. I just bought a Bold off of Ebay, and the seller forgot to do it. Now I'm having a hard time getting in contact with him and having him delete it.

It's so frustrating! I hope it works out somehow.
