Default HELP! Problem Switching from T-Mobile to Cingular

Please Login to Remove!

I unlocked my 7100t and got a Cingular SIM which is provisioned for full Blackberry Internet Access. I want to use Cingular's blackberry website http://www.cingular.com/blackberrystart. However, when I enter my Pin and IMEI, I get an error saying I already exist in the system. I have contacted T-Mobile and had them shut off my blackberry access but apparently, I still exist somewhere in the system. How do I get this corrected? T-Mobile refuses to help.

Thanks

Luq

If you bought the 7100t from someone or it was your phone with T-Mobile, you need to have the seller or yourself go into the webclient for t-mobile and delete the device, so the system doesn't think it is still in use.

It's my 7100t. Unfortunately, now that T-Mobile has switched the way they use BWC, there is no way to delete my device. I can delete my email addresses and remove blackberry service but that's it.

I would suggest searching the forums then, maybe contact RIM and ask for help. I assume Cingular isn't really going to want to help either, even if they could, since they really want to sell you a new BB instead, even if it is only a refurbished one for $69.

I actually had to go through RIM to have them kick the IMEI and PIN off of the web client.

T-mobile will do this for you also but RIM seems to know 100% more
