Default Bold2 or Storm2

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I love my current 8700. It does everything right but after 3 years it is time to get a more up-to-date device.

I'm thinking of going for the bold2 or storm2. I mainly use my device for email since I use another device for phone calls.

Storm2 looks good but I'm not sure that the keyboard can compete wit the Bold2 keyboard.

Any recommendation?

Alos both the Storm2 and Bold2 seem to have the exact same spec and should be as fast and offering same functionality. Am I wrong? Is one device better at music or videos for example?

Thanks in advance making that choice! ;)

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

I'd say when they are released try both devices before deciding

I'm all about being able to type an email on my blackberry as well. It is my number 1 use of the device, even above using it as a phone. I own the Tour and it's pretty much a perfect device in my opinion. But I'm also looking at the Storm 2 for one simple reason. The virtual keyboard keys are huge. And that might make it even easier to bang out an email.

You should try them both out as suggested. I still own the Tour and use it every day, just as you still use your 8700 every day. We both know the virtues of the physical keyboard. Can't wait to give the Storm 2 some serious face time.

Yeah same. I love the keyboard on the Tour but bigger is always better when you have big fingers. But I didn't like the storm because of having to click down the screen. Seemed to make it slower. Maybe they did away with that. Or made it better

The 8700 is a rugged device compaired to the others. As mentioned before, look at both.

I personally like a physical keyboard and I think the track pad is an improvement over the track ball.
