Have you tried a different charger? OEM one plugged into the wall?

I updated the OS on Monday and the battery seemed to die quickly. After several battery pulls it was ok. This morning I checked email and then shut of the phone for class 9-noon. After noon, the phone won't come on. Tried the charger and the red light went out after 20 seconds>

Anybody with the same or similar problem?

If you're having battery problems - call Verizon.

It takes a while - but I got through to tier 2 support at RIM and they are very interested to hear these stories as mine was the "first" they'd heard of. They want me to do a wipe/reload of the OS w/o any 3rd party apps to see if it fixes the battery drain on my phone. I went from using almost nothing of the battery to being really drained with little use. Last night - while it was turned off - my battery dropped from 100% to 65%.

As I said, call them to report it - the only way it'll get fixed is with them knowing about it.

2 other people at work upgraded and have had battery problems since - so it isn't just "you"... and don't replace your battery - the problem isn't hardware.
