signal strength for me is about 4 bars and 3g, but I have isolated it to when I receive or send a picture message...

I just performed a wipe of the device, and I am going to try to see if it continues.. also not installing any other apps until.

I get the same thing from time to time - and after a while, it will make calls without rebooting. I get it in the same area for the most part, so I'm thinking in my case, it might be network related. I'm on .423

I also get this on my Bold9000 with AT&T. It seems to happen mostly when the device wants to go out and get my email while I am on a call. The kicker is, AT&T advertises itself as the only network that allows you to get data while you talk. That may be the case if the phone wants to cooperate as well.

I think this is the case for me as well. I've noticed that it happens the most while I'm driving. Usually when driving, I stream Pandora through my car. Its supposedly pauses the stream and takes the call. I don't know if its Pandora streaming that causes the crash or it grabbing the email message from either my work BES account or either of the two personal gmails.

When it drops the call, I generally check and see that I have anywhere from 3 to 5 bars..
