Ok so I of course have no problem getting emails through my blackerry.net email nor my gmail account I have set up on my storm2. I have no problem actually "replying" to actually type a response/message but what having a problem with is actually sending it. I hit the blackberry(menu) bottom....where the "send" option has always been on my other bb's. Am I missing something here. Along with this, the freakin horrible battery life and the effed up bottom buttons on my storm 2, I'm starting to get a little ticked off. I'm so tempted to tell them to give s different blackberry button which one is comparable...the tour?...yea and they're about to come out with the tour 2...that'd piss ya off.

Anyways in the meantime anyone know about the whole "send" issue?

Yes, I have seen this with both BIS and BES accounts.

Since you're on BIS, delete the accounts and re-add them.

What OS are you running and have you tried resending your service books?

Yup! No "send" button. I have deleted my emails and added them back still not working. And yep I've resent my service books. That's actually what someone at the store suggested. I'm running what came on the phone. 5.0.0.320. is there already an update? I heard one was coming out early this next year. By the way sorry for the typos as I normally use the bb to actually surf this site.

There is a leaked 5.0.0.428 OS out. You can google it and find it.

There was a time when I could not send messages either, but the solution (in my case, at least) ended up being pretty simple. After punching in the To: e-mail address, be sure to click the Return button. You will now have the opportunity to enter a new To: address. Also, you will note that the gray envelope in the top right-hand corner is now active for you to use to send the message. On top of all of that, you will also now have the Send option in the bb menu.

Ok yea I'm familar with this. I actually do not have a problem composing them and sending them, but rather responding to an email I have gotten. After I hit reply(which works fine), I type my response and then go to send it but the "send" option is not there. The folks at the store could not figure this out either.

Gotcha - I realize now that I misread your initial post

I've never experienced this. I called my local VZW store as if I was experiencing the issue. The tech advised me that he had seen this before and that the only solution he was aware of was to back up all of my data and then do a wipe and reinstall the OS. He said this has solved the problem for the three other people he has helped with this issue.

PITA, I know, but it might just be worth a try at this point, eh?

Its cool. I probably should have made it a little more clear. Lol. But yea I've talked to Verizon and because of this issue and a couple more along with my bottom row buttons getting harder to press, they are fedexing me a new device. So I guess I'll see what that one does.
