YES you CAN!!!

RDM+ is a great program. You can control any pc that you install the dewsktop client on. There is no limit as to how many pc you install it on. I have two laptops and my desktop that i cancontrol. I also have it installed on a friends computer that is always needing computer help. I can usually help them over my Blackberry.

If you are looking to control it from just a few feet away, BluCTRL will allow you to control the mouse and type. I have used this one for presentations.

I hope this helps.

I use RDM to control 4 computers .
They need to be connected to the internet, but otherwise it works great.

I ve never used this facility before but i read and heard about it. Is it secure to do it? What do you basically use it for? Like for what would you need it?

Can you access the internet on your laptop? send documents on your laptop via your email to your BB or just to your email so that you have access to it?

What else?

Why not get a trial copy and try it for yourself?

I would rather ask people who tried it than try it myself. First i get a spoiler about its capabilities and if i am tempted, i would try it.

I am looking for answers Dubdub, i know i can try it myself. Now i can google it, but i just thought i d have a nice decent interesting conversation with the guys. That is all.

Do you have anything to add on the subject?

There is also VNC+ which I've tried. There is some lag and you need to zoom in and out to actually read anything but it worked for what I needed it for.

How can you see the representation of a PC screen on a Blackberry? It seems like it would be difficult to see anything.

It was scaled down for the phone's screen and I was able to zoom in and scroll around to the area I wanted to view. It's not practical for everyday use but I could see how it would be useful for accessing a server just to make a few modifications.

I suppose but to me it can be dangerous to play with options on such a screen. I like
BIG BIG screens when doing anything on a server. It is nice to know it is workable.

Thanks

It works, but as you said, the screen is WAY to small to be usable for me. There used to be a Citrix client for the BB - and I had the same issue. Even with scrolling and zooming, it wasn't for me.
