Problems after upgrade to BES 5.0.1

After upgrading to BES 5.0.1 I am having issues with anything trying to got out from the device. User can't reply to e-mail it receives the red X. When creating a calendar event or adding a contact it does not synch back to the server. The company address book lookup fails. Everything comeing into the device works fine. E-mails are received. Calendar events and contacts synch fine. Is there a service or setting that was changed during the install? Any help would be appreciated.
