If you have a Media Card and the pictures stored on it, then it would be easier to enable Mass Storage Mode and then use Windows Explorer to transfer the pictures.

If you have your pics on a media card, enable mass storage mode on your phone, then connect it to your PC. A window should open and ask what action you want to take. You can then proceed as you would when transferring pics from a digal camera to your PC. Check first to see if mass storage is enabled on your phone.
