got a Bold 9700 a month or so ago, got everything working easily as I've had a pearl before now. Up until yesterday that is. Beginning last night on my GMail account (have a separate email that's on exchange, and it's not occuring there) whenever I read an item, it's not marking it read on gmail, and after another 10 minutes or so, it re-pushes it and gives me a new copy of the same email that's a little farther down the list. As I said, it's a new thing, I can't figure out for the life of me how to stop it from doing that, and it's driving me mental, my wife and I trade emails via that account all day, so it's marking fifteen+ unread and just stuffing my inbox with them. Any ideas on a resolution? Thanks

The same thing happened to me Saturday night. Read Gmail on the BB was not being marked as read on the PC and, when I received another email, the unread email was re-sent to the BB together with the new one. I tried a battery pull but that didn't do the trick so I deleted the Gmail account using email setup on the BB and then I set it up again. All back to normal after that.

I'm getting that now too. Going to try killing anmd recreating that account...
