Do any one know that through which API we can find the handheld device User Name?

To get a user's email address:

ServiceConfiguration.getEmailAddress()

I assume this is what you mean by "user name".

I have implemented as:

ServiceConfiguration SC = new ServiceConfiguration();

user = SC.getEmailAddress();

When this code is used in the simulator, user has a value as null.

How to retrieve the user name .........

User name is basically one who has the blackberry i.e. owner.

Can anyone tell how to get the owner name?

getting the mail-adress:

String eMail = Session.getDefaultInstance().getServiceConfigurati on().getEmailAddress().toString()

getting the PIN:

String bbPin = Integer.toHexString(DeviceInfo.getDeviceId())
