Default Error Code 543 (I think)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Last night I plugged my phone into this computer which doesn't have blackberry software on it and about 10 or so hours after taking it out, I get error code 543 (I think). So I take the SIM and bettery out, put them back in, same thing happens. and now its just a solid red light.

Anyhow, how do I fix it? If I have to do some funky code stuff, do I do that in the program on the computer which it is stored on?

Thanks in advance!

P.s I'm a bit simple when it comes to programming, please keep it simple.

Are you using a BB cable? nothing should happen by plugging in a BB to a computer without DM on it. Fess up what did you attempt to do? It seems like you think the is a PC and attempted to play with the OS or memory. Als where di you ge tthe idea there is a "master reset". If your talking about a wipe, ok

Really what were you trying to do.

Wirelessly posted

I noticed that I didn't have my charger so I plugged my BB into a computer to charge it. I don't like changing OS systems because I know I could break it permanently.

Master Reset:
http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/How_do_I_reset_my_BlackBerry%3F

"A master reset removes all user-installed applications and data, including BlackBerry Connect software. For more about master resets, contact your service provider."
