I'm a new BB user and have some basic questions I've not been able to find answers to so far. First, what formats will a 7130e accept as ring tones, will small mp3 files work?

Second, what are some ways to get a file to the BB? Can it somehow save files that are sent as attachments to email? Is there a way to make ftp work?

Finally, is there a way to browse the file system on the BB? It looked like it saved ringtones to /user/ringtones - are there any tools that allow one simply see what files are where (other than use the pictures application to see image files, or the profile tool to view ringtones)?

Maybe there are some sources of more extensive documentation then the standard User Guide someone could point me to?

Remember, Search is Your Friend!

No you can't save ringtones from an email attachment, they must be downloaded from a website

And finally, you can not veiw the Blackberry "file system". This is considered one of many security measures of the Blackberry.
