i heard that dm 6.0 s very buggy . it loaded well and when I connect 9700 the dm recognizes it. However a green rotating circle in bottom right keeps spinning for hours with the word "connecting " underneath. I cant backup or sync since the connecting process doesnt complete itself

any ideas on why it ha such trouble connecting ?

Do a clean delete and then reinstall with antivirus off.

Or uninstalll completely and then install version 5.

i had to do the same dubdub said.i had dm 6 on my pc but could not get it to sync.i deleted it and tried to go back to dm 5 which used to work fine for me.but when i tried to sync with the dm 5 i got an error and it would not sync.at that point i upgraded to dm 6 again and with the new install all works fine.

tried uninstalling 6 and loading 5 but i get an installation error the installation wizard stops in teh middle. I dont think its a software bug but just in case does anyone have a clean copy of DM 5 - where to download from

also any other ideas about fixing dm 6 would be appreicated

If you running DM6 with window 7 then try runing as administrator. It will fixed your problem.

am runing with xp
i just thought of something - am connectng b- berry with computer thru a usb hub.
the dm detects teh b-berry but cant start sync- maybe the info exchange is too slow
when i get home i will try connecting directly
