Hi all,

Firstly, I'm new to the forum and BB and have to say I'm impressed with both!

Now, I've looked over and over forums regarding BB and Facebook sync issues and still cannot find an answer to my problems so I'm hoping someone can help.

I cannot get my FB to sync with my BB (Calender, Messages & Contacts are all ticked to do so). The only way I can get my friends to sync is by manually going through the process and even this way I tend to lose information after a while. I have never been able to get my calender to sync either. I've tried clearing the Cache down, uninstalling FB, re-installing...no luck either way.

Does anyone know if the problems are down to the FB app itself or am I missing a trick? I've come across other forums where people have been able to sync while others haven't (all on different model BB's)

Any advice would be great.

i know when you install the app, it asks if you wish to sync with Calender, contacts etc.

if you want to change the settings, you can do so on the facebook options screen on the handheld.

failing that, try reinstalling the app.

Tried this numerous time but FB still won't sync my calender and contacts. Has anyone else had similar problems? I've also gone through the setup wizard a number times, cleared down the Cache, logged back in but still no good.

Any further advice?

its a waste no one has solutions i have a similar issue i install my fb app but it wont show up on the blackberyy home or anywhere i can see it installed but can t find the application

Did you have a look in the "Applications" folder for Facebook?

I had the same issue and then found out it was added to Applications and not the Downloads folder.
