I just wanted everyone to know that has this issue...it is very very easy to fix...all I did was get a q tip and dip in alcahol and rubbed in on the ball...let it dry and my ball was fixed!!!!!!! yaaaaaay

You were very lucky using raw alcohol without disassembly. It can deteriorate plastic parts.
