Good morning,

I have a brief question I was hoping you all could help me with as technical support was unable.

I bought 5 curves, 8530s, for my sales team. I still have each phone in my possession, and I am having a problem I am unable to solve.

Each time I hold the red end call button to power off the phone, I get the message that the phone will turn on 3 minutes from the shut off time. It would be similar to the message had I set an alarm, but no alarm is set. There are no appointments in the calendars either.

I was wondering if any of you have experienced this issue before, or if you know how to troubleshoot it.

Click on Options (wrench icon)>Auto On/Off and set the drop down box at the top to Disabled.

Both were set to disabled upon entering, so the problem is still occuring.

OK... Do you have any scheduling/alarm type apps installed that might be able to turn your BlackBerry on?

Mine is the same, however I have set alarms for the weekdays and stuff. I might turn that notification off and try it one day.
