Default bb 9780

I have just got my new 9780 and I am having a mare. It has (well I think it was me) taken all my contacts from the 3 email addresses and the contacts from my sim and added it to my contacts list. So when I go to send and email/text etc I get up to five contacts for the same person but can't see which contact is for what. Would it be better to do a factory re set (as I have not got much on there yet. If so how do I that.
Thanks

Welcome to the Forums.

First rule of Blackberry ... If it aint broke dont fix it.

You did not indicate how you transferred the contacts or numbers so doing a wipe and reloading using desktop manager may be cleaner. If you only have 3 to 4 contacts it also may be easy to just delete them and reload one at a time.
You did read the manual I hope.

Keep in mind if there are say 3 contacts in SIM card they will be listed as contact1, contact2, Contact3 when you import. I never keep anything on SIM because SIM cards still do not support multiple details (phones) for the same contact.
Bring your contacts to outlook on desktop or in email account like GMAIL and then let it be snched up with BB contacts and that way it will have the right way
