We too have gone through the red strip BS with 'Rogers too. Seems a bit too easy for any carrier to waive warranty due to so called "water damage". Battery had red - phone was still white. Go figure..and of course, ... we were screwed. Leaving your phone on a counter in the bathroom should not pose any issue at all..hi humidity notwithstanding. There's a great many places on this planet with a hell of a lot more humidity than a bathroom.! Not saying dubdub is wrong...just that a mobile phone should be somewhat resistant to normal environments. Saying moisture is a potential issue is like saying that you should not own a BB while in Manila or Bangkok during the monsoons.
Humididty..? my (_!_).!
Seems to me those teltale strips turn red a bit too easy for my liking. A hell of a lot more profit in denying warranty than paying it out..who is not gonna buy a new phone if theirs is hooped..??
