First, sometimes for some people there have been occasions where it took a long time for the BlackBerry to boot up. I mean longer than the usual long time it takes. So, if you have not done so already, leave the BlackBerry for 20 or 30 minutes and see if it boots.

If the BlackBerry does not boot after 20 minutes or so, you will need to wipe is with JL_CMDER or BBSAK and then reinstall the OS. See blackberryfaq.com for JL_CMDER.

After you wipe the device you will have a 507 error. Then you will install the OS. Use Desktop Manager to automatically install the OS, or download the OS from your carrier and follow directions, or see the "latest OS" thread here on the forum for your model BlackBerry.

Have you tried a 30-second battery pull? When it gets stuck just yank the battery and leave it out for 30 seconds or so. This forces a reset and cures a lot of ills. If this doesn't sort you out, follow aiharkness' suggestions.
