Just got this today in the mail.

After 2 Gizmo's falling apart and the stock plastic holster being quite craptastic, this "horizontal" case is built amazing in comparison to the others I have tried.

Heavy duty leather, sticthed perfectly and a snug fit with the sleep mode that actually works!

Simply love this case, such great build quality.

I just received my Fortte vertical case yesterday. Other then being somewhat thicker then I prefer, it is a very well built case with great workmanship.

I've ordered seven or so cases for the 8700 and continue using the Fortte everyday.

Still waiting on the OEM RIM vertical pouch to come out though.

Ditto I have a Fortte case and it sucks to me, it looks good, great quality, nice two tone leather etc..but that DAMN clip is the worse construction, i can't count the number of times my BB has fallen off my belt from that Flimsy Free Wheeling clip...I am with you IGREENBERG, give me the OEM RIM Vert pouch, with the Rachet clip.

I contacted them about the 360 clip, I personally hate clips, so they offered to custom build me a case with a non-swivel metal clip.

I am going to go for it, the build quality is very good so I wont wory about it falling apart after a week.

Just got my Fortte vertical today. No complaints here. Excellent construction. Best case I have had!

What do you do with the flap when you are on the phone? Doesn't it get in the way?

Also if I get one without the clip, is the back of the case flat? I like to put my phone in my pocket and I don't eant clipholder sticking out the back.

On the vertical case the flap is pretty small. It's not like it's large enough to be flapping around all over the place. It stays in the closed position all the time. It doesn't get in the way. The horizontal flap is a bit larger but also stays down in the closed position all the time. Again, it shouldn't get in the way,

The back of the case is flat and very rigid.
