Okay, I am completely stumped. I have an Unlocked Blackberry Curve 8320 with a AT&T GoPhone SIM on the 2$/daily unlimited talk/text and data at $0.01/5kb plan. I have an edge (not EDGE) connection and I need help.

I cannot connect to the internet, it will not work. While it works in my flip phone, on the blackberry it does not work. It shows up in Services as Blackberry Internet Service: Not Connected and my IP is 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1

I've looked everywhere for a fix but I cannot seem to find one, everytime I try to use MEDIA Net, it says I need to buy a data plan or I have no funds...

I can't get the $50/month unlimited talk/text/web prepaid plan right now, so I hoped to use it with the $0.01/5kb plan.

Everything else on the phone works, I just have no data service or even a data connection. Is there a fix to this?

The fix, unfortunately, is to get a BlackBerry Data Plan..

I can't, there is no data plan on my plan list for GoPhone...

ATT does not offer the plan on the PAYG plans. Only a full Blackberry plan will work. Not the cell data plan

Switch to ATT (get off the PAYG plan) and add the BB data plan to your voice plan.
