Hey Guys,

I sold my Torch 9800, Although I am having a issue with my blackberry connecting to my network. It comes up that it fails to obtain IP Address, I recently added in a Repeater into my network. I deleted the network before because I switched from WEP to PSK. Although when I try and connect it doesn't connect. I have no idea why this is.

My BB 8520 has problems with WiFi Connect.. It says failed to obtain the IP Address. Though it says connected but cant do the browsing. Please Help

You need a BlackBerry data plan to get the service books that allow wifi use.

Contact your carrier DIGICEL and they can give you pricing. If you buy it, they will push down "Service Books" which will enable all of the BlackBerry functions.

Ist possible to use wifi without the bb data plan otherwise can i buy the data plan online? Am using Digicel Carrier (Grand Cayman)

You can't use WiFi without a Data Plan.
You can try online, but the easiest way will be to call your carrier Digicel.
