Default Headset and 7100T Q?

Well here goes. I have a motorola HS-820(wish I got the 810) headtset and my 7100T, when I wear my headset and go to put my phone in the holster it seems to activate the headset to accept data and I have no clue why? Sorry if this post sounds confusing but I have no clue how I can explain it better. Any help is appreciated.

Bizarre

What handheld software version are you using?

If it is not 4.0 then i would upgrade (free on tmobile site)

The newer handheld versions seem to do better with bluetooth.

Also, I had a similar problem with my HS810 and deleted it from the list and then paired it again as a new device after my software upgrade (ver 128 to ver 190) and has worked fine since.

I am currently using OS 4.0. Not really sure what the problem could be cause im still having it, hopefully it's just some defect but I am going to get the new nokia when the headset comes out and hope the problem gets fixed with a new headset. For now I'm just going to have to deal.

If youre using a holster with the magnet (sleeep function) this is the cause... when you insert the BB it changes from hand to holster profile which wakes up the headset. Shouldn;t be a big deal the headset will go back to sleep on it's own.

Well I'm using the holster which came with the BB and it does have the little magnet, so I guess your right rcg. Also do you have the new Nokia HS4W Bluetooth headsets in stock and also would you prefer this headset over the Jabra BT250 headset?

Yes to both questions about the headset. The one thing about the nokia is it's a bit priciy compared to the Jabra... but it sure is nice
