Default Should I have my email fowarded or have BIS pull the email?

Please Login to Remove!

Which is better?
Have my email addresses foward my mail to my blackberry.net address or should I have them all pull the email via the BIS?

Also, should I consider redirector? Does this work at all without the exchange?

Try them both and see for yourself which one you prefer.

I prefer forwarding though but thatxxx8217;s just me.

I prefer the forwarding. It seems like most people say to say away from the redirector

Forwarding is almost instant.

Pulling is about 15 minutes.

If you have all your email fowarded, what do you use to respond to emails?

Either the BB or the source, forwarding will allow for copies to be kept at the source of forwarding.

When forwarding, does the computer (and Internet connection) have to remain on? Also, can you forward with a rule to renove the FW: when a message is received?

Thanks!

I would echo MrKyoo's suggestion that you try for yourself. Try for yourself and you'll see quickly--and easily--that using the forwarding feature of your e-mail account has nothing to do with your computer's staying on (unless you're using the redirector, which isn't what you're talking about) and when forwarding the messages, the FW isn't appended to the subject like it is when you use an e-mail client to read your messages and manually forward to someone.

Just spend some time playing with it. Then if you still have questions, this forum will be more beneficial to you.

How do I forward and not use the email client? I am using MS Outlook and BIS.

Thanks!
