Question On The Net 7520

It seems to me that the 7520 web is very slow. Is there a way to speed it up?

You can try changing your settings on your internet, but a lot of the speed depends on the network connection. For instance, EDGE or EVDO is going to be quicker than GPRS ect..

What type of settings would you change? I am thinking of going from the 7520 to the new sprint 8700 when it comes out!

You can disable and enable several things. I have "support java style" and "use background and foreground colors". I enabled Microsoft IE instead of Blackberry Browser as well.

Play around and see what you like. A good rule of thumb is less is quicker and the more options you have the slower a page loads.

Yup. I noticed a little pick up in speed, but not enough to really make a HUGE difference

You can try cleaning the event log every once in a while.

ALT+LGLG from the home screen then delete the log. Also, you can clean the history and the cache as well. That might pick the speed up a little.

The best thing I have done is diabling images. Then I load them individually or all at once by hitting Q.

Please bare with me if this sounds like a stupid question, but how do you enable IE?

Under browser, general options, change the browser option.
