Lightbulb Cingular BB Support #

Please Login to Remove!

Cingular BB users do not call the traditional support # for Cingular as these techs have no clue about the BB or how to provide support (most of them at least)!

I always call Cingular's BB support team at 800.304.3044 as they are much more educated about BB and how to manipulate the device if you are expericing problems.

every time i called the cingular support line, they always transferred me to the BB support line.

Use to be that when I dailed 611 from my BB, after conferming my phone number, the first option was are you calling about your BB phone, Press 1. Wnet right to the data CS Now that i have an corprate customer employee discount that is no longer an option and I have to dial the Data CS number.

I'm on a corporate customer account as well and I do not have that option.

The problem I always had was if I was calling for support and my bill was maybe one day past the due date, my call was snagged unknowingly by a billing rep. After I would explain in detail my technical problem they would ask me if I knew my bill was a day overdue and when would I be making my payment. I would respond that I'd make my payment within the next 10 days, and they would then try to transfer me to another c/s rep and I would have to begin explaining my problem all over again...very frustrating to say the least.

I have since switched my service to TMO. When you call their support just say the word Blackberry and instantly you are transferred to a BB rep. The other reason I switched was that after numerous requests Cingular would not unlock my phone for overseas travel. Now I am enjoying being on BIS 2.0, I've picked up an extra 300 phone minutes and paying half of what I used to pay.
