Could you tell me which BlackBerry to choose ?
I would like to buy one, but I don't know which of BlackBerry models are better.

What about BlackBerry 7100v ?

Which BB is best for you depends on what you plan to do with it, how much money you want to spend, what features are the most important, etc. Do some research. Look around. Go into a store and hold the models. Talk to people that use their BB the way you anticipate you will use yours.

the poster did use the "v" designation when referring to the model, so my guess is that he/she is on vodafone. Unless he/she is looking to get an unlocked one

I disagree, I would say get the device that suits your needs the best.

Example: I have 7105t, there is the 8700g from T-Mo, but I like the form factor of the 7100 series

Other than carrier, the next item to look for is full QWERTY model vs. Suretype.

I chose the 7130e (Verizon) over the 7250 because I preferred the phone form factor and found the Suretype just fine for my needs.

As far as my pref. i do not like the 7100's i do a ton of emailing and do not like they keyboard. The 8700's are nice they have the high def screen like the 7100's but have the qwerty keyboard like 7520's and such, but not sure if the light weight feel too them is good or not. feels a little cheep in your hands. We havent had much time to play with these yet. Sprints 7290's now have EVDO on them where you can tether them to your computer and have access to internet. This is nice to have when traveling or when the power goes out due to rolling backouts. sprint 6700's are nice windows devices but they are really bad draining the batteries. we were at one time going to switch our whole fleet over to them but our users use the voice on them so much (up to 10k minutes a month for some users) so the battery life would have been a real big issue. Also on the 6700's the EVDO tether is more complicated and also an extra free is charged to you to use this unlike the 7290's.

Basically it all boils down to what you need. If you do a lot of e-mail/IM I would heartily reccomend a QWERTY model (72xx, 87xx)
