There are commercial unlockers who may be able to unlock your 8700 for a fee. Search for them on the boards here.

Good luck.

Default Contact KPN

The best thing to do is contact KPN (kpn.com)
and ask them to provide an unlock code.

try gsmphonesource.com, adam is the man over there. He may have an alternative to get you to unlock you phone, or you can always pick up a translator, LOL...

Go to KPN.com and look at the very bottom of the page... click on Foreign Visitors and you'll get a page in English...

ariindny88 - Have you contacted GSMPhoneSource? You are going to have to pay to get it unlocked.

Lightbulb its not german

The site kpn.com is not german, its dutch. Are you sure you were in germany and not the netherlands, its the smaller country on the left :p
The legal hash-trade gives it away.

Having been a KPN customer I can tell you that its not going to be easy to get that unlock code, KPN offers phones at cheap prices so an unlock is going to cost you more than if you would have just bought the phone retail. Go with the professional unlockers in your local area.
