What a blow for Webmessenger that their client wasn't selected...

These are the guys that made the Charm's client:

That's serious licensing agreement, odd that there's no MSN on the other hand from my day to day dealing with US clients AIM is really popular with IM users.

Oz is quite capable of doing MSN, but it appears that T-Mobile is not including it for some reason.

I hate this OZ IM client... I sent myself a test IM at 10:09 pm... it was delivered to me at 1:09pm the next afternoon?! It takes forever to load the buddylist (even with only 34 contacts)... Maybe I was spoiled by my sidekick. I love the 7100t so far but can do without this lacking IM client. Any suggestions for a better client? I hear webmessenger is good - anything newer/closer to the sidekick version of AIM?

Thank ya,

Nick

Hey Nick,

The current best free option that I use for AIM on the 7100, is AIM forwarding to cell phone. It uses SMS, so it's quick and reliable. And if you have the delivery notification you can see that the message was delivered.

The only draw back, is you can't see the users logged on in a nice graphical way.

But for now that seems to be the best free, fast, reliable bet.
