I got my 8100 this evening and have been playing with it a bit. Heck I am even posting this message from it right now. Ok on with the review.

Pearl ball - not too bad. I like how I can change the sensitivity of it. Made it a lot nicer to use. The glow is cool. Functions fine and makes it easy to move to a point in text you want to edit. Also works great with Google Maps.

Keyboard - ok. A bit small. I do like the feel of the keys. I love qwerty but suretype is not all that bad. People with big hands may have problems with the keyboard.

Sound quality - on calls it is great. I have no issues with it.

Camera - great for snapshots.

Voice control - very cool. Worth the upgrade on its own.

Over all I would give it a B+ nice form factor. Good start at the consumer line.
