GDAY ALL, I have an issue where after I read emails in my messages, it still shows I have unread emails in the alert even after I delete all prior and my inbox is empty. Apparently there is a setting for this to correctly tell the blackberry when emails are read and deleted. anyone heard of this. great site guys.

I had this happen to me. It turned out that I had saved e-mails without realizing it. I'd check and see if you have any saved e-mails. If you delete those, like I did, then the problem may go away.

Thanks mate. I spent a few hours on the phone this morning with a blackberry engineer, I have no messages of any kind saved and he finally found out it is a bug they are working on a fix for the upcoming update.

Is there a way to just clear the inbox whether it be SMS or emails?
