I always allow for delays. It has been my experience that the devices donxxx8217;t actually get to the store for an additional 1-4 weeks after the projected release date. I believe the projected date is Nov. 10.

Sounds good. Bring it on baby cause I want one Better before the end of the year.

Will they be available on Cingular's website before on stores? I wonder how much the 2yr contract price will be?

Cingular gave their store employees BB training from RIM reps about a week ago and they were told the Pearl would be out in November...but everything is always subject to change.

Why pay extra to get it unlocked, etc. if you don't mind waiting?

Thats what I did!

Although Im thinking of switching to T-mob to see how their coverage in my area is compaired to Cing Cing's network. Tmobile, from what I hear, is less expencive that Cingy so I might just hop on Tmob

I meant for those who are impatient.

Plus you could just buy a T-Mobile BB 8100, have it unlocked and use it for Cingular at not extra cost.

Yah!!! I should of just waited instead of just picking up a 7130c and selling the 8700c. Oh well, I'll just have to sell the 7130c

Always count on cingular to mess up a nice design. Look at that UGLY silver box of keys, much less classy than tmobiles black design.

Before you switch, be sure to go to T-Mobile's website and enter your zip code in the Coverage Indicator box towards the bottom. It will give you a good idea of what kind of coverage to expect in your area!
